Our Practice

We focus our practice on two areas — personal injury and criminal defense.

For persons who have suffered injuries as the result of negligence, we work to obtain compensation and justice. Our lawyers have extensive knowledge of personal injury law and strong civil trial experience, we help victims of car accidents, truck accidents, slip and fall events, and workplace accidents obtain the financial resources they need to rebuild their lives.

In the area of criminal defense, we work to defend the rights and freedom of clients accused of serious felony and misdemeanor crimes, such as DWI and DUI, violent crimes, drug crimes, and white collar crimes.

Our Attorneys

Before becoming an attorney, Neal Janey worked for the Baltimore Police Department, first as a patrol officer for the Western District and later as a detective and police agent. He gained an understanding of investigation, crime scene preservation, and evidence collection. After earning his law degree, he eventually became a prosecutor in Baltimore City, where he prosecuted cases of all types.

Attorney Tim Dixon began his career as a Baltimore police officer, eventually rising to the rank of sergeant. As officer, lieutenant, and sergeant in the police force, he investigated nearly every type of crime — ranging from traffic violations to murder. He earned his law degree and afterward worked as a prosecutor in the State's Attorney office, as well as Associate Legal Counsel in service to the Police Commissioner.

Mr. Janey and Mr. Dixon now put their extensive experience in criminal law matters to use in the defense of clients accused of serious crimes. Since starting the firm, they have also developed a successful practice in the area of personal injury.
